SPBA Accomplishments
As part of our mission to enhance the quality of life in Southern Pines, the Southern Pines Business Association is proud to have achieved the following accomplishments over the years.
Mid 90s
Installed downtown directories.
2000
Springfest became an SPBA event.
2001
Started Downtown Christmas Trees.
2001
Started First Eve.
2005
Created the Southern Pines Welcome Center.
2010-2012
Donated and installed camillas and benches at the Train Station.
2014
Created the First Eve Pinecone.
2015
Installed a bike repair station at Reservoir Park.
2016
Donated wireless microphones for downtown events.
2017
Donated a wireless link and repeater for a second set of speakers for downtown events.
2018
Installed a bike repair station at Downtown Park.
2021
Refurbished and updated downtown directories.
2023
Provided funds for updated and new signage at the West Southern Pines Community Center.
