Kick off the holiday season with one of Downtown Southern Pines' most cherished traditions! Join us on Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM for our Annual Christmas Parade and enjoy a joyful morning filled with holiday spirit and hometown cheer. The parade features high school marching bands, dance teams, beautifully decorated floats created by local organizations and Moore County businesses, fire trucks, antique cars, Misses and Princesses, community and political representatives, and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself.

The parade begins at the Sunrise Theater and travels south down Broad Street to Massachusetts Avenue, where it crosses the tracks before making its way back north along Broad Street and concluding at Connecticut Avenue. Bring the whole family, find a spot along the route, and celebrate the season with us in Downtown Southern Pines!

  • Participants should be non-partisan groups, clubs, or organizations.
  • Participants are responsible for their own clean-up.
  • No throwing candy, and no stopping — keep up with the entry in front of you.
  • The committee reserves the right to decline any entry deemed inappropriate.
